Eternal Mourning: Indie Folk
Eternal Mourning is a Montreal-based dark folk and indie rock project blending raw emotion, vivid storytelling, and textured musicianship into a deeply evocative sound. Drawing from dark folk, indie rock, grunge intensity, and cinematic spaghetti-western textures, the music moves between intimacy and tension, balancing fragile melodies with immersive sonic landscapes.
Eternal Mourning released its debut album, A Draft, in 2024, followed by What I Saw Is History in 2025. Across both records, the music explores themes of memory, conflict, human vulnerability, and the complexities of connection, shifting between quiet reflection and powerful, atmospheric arrangements.

The Sound of Eternal Mourning
Ethereal yet grounded, melancholic yet uplifting—Eternal Mourning craft music that speaks to the heart and soul. Their songs are a reflection of life’s contrasts, exploring themes of love, loss, resilience, and the beauty of imperfection.
The project is currently entering a new chapter, with a renewed focus on songwriting, recording and live performance.
